Moving on to Modeling
Finally, I'm starting with the 3D models. I've modstly completed Syg's blade, Sync, and after I'm done with that, I'll proceed with Syg's model (It's gonna be much more difficult).

SubSyg Story - Chapter Two, Life
Not too long afterwards, Syg regained conscious in an old run-down suburban area, graffiti all over and papers flying around, the concrete colors were dull, and all the buildings were busted up and nearly destroyed. Syg looked around, and decided to have a run there, too. Syg traversed through the barren parking lots, run up the walls of the old buildings (leaving them in shambles afterward), and even skating in the abandoned skating park along the way using an dusty board just lying around. It was starting to have a little fun, but was caught by surprise by a large dip in the ramp, and he descended at an extremely fast speed. Syg struggled trying not to run into anything, dodging bumps and obstacles heading downward. At the bottom of the dip, he got launched up into the air by a wooden ramp tilted upward.
Syg crashed on top of a tall building, and assumed it was safe, but in fact, it wasn't at all. It took a sigh of relief, and looked down the edge of the building, but it started rumbling. Syg stepped away, and the door leading into the building cracked open, giving him a route to follow out. But time was short, and the building began crumbling down. It was hard to move quickly because the room was packed with tables and desks. When Syg reached the bottom, it just barely had enough time to jump out, and the building crashed into the ground.
Syg looked back at the debris, and saw something shiny in the broken tile. Syg dug through the pieces, and saw a sash wrapped around a handle. It pulled the handle out, and pulled out a small blade. The blade was really thick for its shortness, however, and it felt just right with Syg. He waved it around a little, poked it (which hurt a bit), and gripped it tightly. It suddenly flashed a strange aura, which quickly crawled onto Syg, now glowing brightly. The energy all sucked into Syg's hand, and the blade seemed to stick to Syg's hand better. The curious creature held it up, tossed it in the air and caught it with ease, and was ready to use it at any moment.
Almost perfectly timed after Syg's new discovery, some strange creatures came from out of the sky, surrounding Syg. They all looked street punks, but with strange markings on their clothes and tattoos in a shadowey aura. Syg readied its new blade, and the goons came at it with their clubs, torn light poles and any other sharp objects they could find. Syg's tactics were still new, but quite effective against these goons. As his fighting improved, he started regrowing that aura that got absorbed into his hand, and the blade started becoming stronger. One by one Syg sliced-and-diced its foes back into the dust they came from, until there was no more.
It lost its power once the enemies were destroyed, but it remained in the blade, so Syg kept its new tool. Syg was then greeted by another one of those orbs, similar to the one it obtained in the ethereal world, and Syg quickly grabbed it. As before, Syg obtained the its altered form and boomed towards his next location: the city.

SubSyg Story - Chapter One, Birth
In the darkness of the ethereal world, a disturbance was building up in a small area. A ghazt orb had formed there, but it was cracked. Its spirit was escaping its containment, and the orb started to glow. It started cracking open, and it caught the attention of a nearby ghazt. It warped right in front of it and snatched it. The confused ghazt toyed with the orb until it gave it a really hard poke. That caused a reaction which shattered the orb, becoming a mini-black hole, and sucked the ghazt right in.
The two were combined, and the black hole began forming into a brand new creature. It took the form of the ghazt, but with a few special features. It had grown thick, chubby legs, its arms thickened a little, it became slick and fur-less, and its eyes looked much more normal and larger. It took its first breath on the ethereal soil, and it became alive. This creature, was Syg. Its first instinct was to escape; run. It picked up a groove and sped away. It wanted to escape, leave the ethereal world it was born in. Its thoughts were stirring, observing all its surroundings, exploring this, dimension.
The beautiful world seemed to have no end, until yet another disturbance caught the creature's eye. It took the shape of a spider, which had been forming into an ethereal monster, but the transformation was broken, and it became mutated with all its surroundings and boomed at Syg, which immediately ran for its life. It jumped and weaved every obstacle while dodging the arachnoid's mighty blows.
However, Syg was much faster, and after a long dash, it was stopped by the presence of a strange orb rested on a tall spike, protected by other large boulders and ethereal structures. Syg swiftly climbed its way to the top, anxious to grab the orb, but time was ticking, and fast. Syg jumped off the nearest rock, reached out and grabbed it, falling to the ground, but safely landed on his feet.
Suddenly, the orb began glowing, and lifted out of Syg's grasp, giving Syg a strange sensation. Syg stomped its foot hard on the ground, and its form began to change. Syg's tail grew longer with a tail spike at the end, and another right under the back of tail, as a little double horn extruded from its head. Its eyes got sharp and more cat-like, and a strange symbol formed within the orb. As Syg's transformation was finishing, the arachnoid quickly caught up to Syg. With a grinding of its teeth, Syg boomed away, speeding so fast its form became nearly invisible. The arachnoid continued to chase after Syg, but came to a stop; Syg had already got away.
Syg was running unbelievably fast, so fast that it was splitting the seal that closed off the ethereal world from the real world, eventually bursting it open, and running straight into the real world. It came out with a extreme tumble, and got kicked right into the air. Syg's form then normalized, and it fell flat on its face, immediately blacking out. The rift Syg left open had closed, but the arachnoid wasn't gone for good.

Kalatrogan - Ethereal Destroyer
Kalatrogan is the main enemy, the evil ethereal imposter. Summoned from the depths of the ethereal world, Kalatrogan wants to use its power to destroy the ethereal world, for it's a demon with wanting the destruction of existence. Syg apparently becomes Kalatrogan's primary target because Syg is the only one who can defeat it.
When Kalatrogan becomes present in a stage, the music will transform into the Dark DnB genre. The closer/more powerful he is, the more intense the music. Usually, the only way to survive against Kalatrogan is to flee, or possess the power of SubSyg or MachSyg. Kalatrogan can't be hurt by regular Syg, because he isn't strong enough in that form.
Kalatrogan has four arms and legs, each arm wielding a different form of attack. It has its two regular arms used for building and holding things, a blade arm for close combat, and a spirit arm that can stretch very far and smash things, as well as use pure energy to attack. Its bottom is like a big cannon, in which Kalatrogan can flip on its back and fire beams of devastating energy. Unlike regular arachnoids, its heart is in its head as well as its brain. It also has wings to fly, as well as a tail.
Kalatrogan doesn't have any obvious weak points. Its limbs are very thin, and its bottom is as hard as obsidian. Thus, the only way Syg can hurt it is to attack the head, or have precise timing to hit its tail which dangles right behind its head.
Syg never really gets an opportunity to "defeat" Kalatrogan until the end of the game. This idea may be improved or added to later on.

New Mode Idea - Hardcore Mode
I should've thought of this earlier, but hardcore mode is gonna be a super-intensive version of Story Mode. This idea is to limit Syg to only his regular form, make him a little more resistant to knock backs (so he's more vulnerable to taking more hits), reduce his HP by like 75%, and have a much shorter time limit, where the player has to rush through every stage to reach the goal. The enemy count would be increased significantly, but with the same HP (because hammering on the same enemy over and over again gets boring). The stages would also appear differently, with different routes, more violent environments and more intense music. The rewards would be much better too, and even an epic alternate ending could be added to make a better reason to try this mode. Of course, the stages would be tested to see if it could be completed, but that doesn't mean they would be easy, at all.
